My Mom and I were out last month and she adopted one of Sandy's sons (George) -- I just wanted to give you an update.
Mom is so in love with little George and he with her, it is really touching for all of us to see. Unfortunately, she broke her leg (bad, bad osteoperosis) and is currently in the hospital. Our large family has been vying to keep George for her, and he's actually been with 4 different families since she's been away.
He is so smart, and has adapted well to each move, charming, entertaining, and delighting each household. I had him for a night, but my older, little dog hated him (although fiesty little George was having none of it, and about drove him nuts trying to get him to play), so I had to let him move on.
Whenever we visit her she always wants to know who's got him and if he's being cared for, and says she really misses him. We're going to sneak him up to see her today, as I think a few snuggles with him and doggie kisses will be the best medicine.
I thought you'd like to know what an ambassador your offspring has turned out to be. Thanks -- Mary
